Tinte, French for 'tint,' reflects the salon’s focus on color. Unlike typical blow dry bars that only offer styling, Tinte stands out by providing both color maintenance and blowouts, no cuts. Owner Dyana Nematalla created Tinte to meet clients' needs for quick color touch-ups and styled blowouts. With stylists trained in New York and LA, Tinte offers exceptional service in a relaxed, fun environment. Chic hair, made effortless.
We wanted to build a brand that delivers the same beautiful and memorable experience of Sirène (the sister salon) and gives clients a unique experience that cannot be found at other blow dry bars in Atlanta. The brand design was inspired by high-end fashion and beauty brands with a focus on curated typography and editorial photography. It is inspiring and fashion-forward and reflects the high-end experience at Tinte.
To convey their expertise and attention to detail, we customized the T’s in the logo to have a more structured serif at the top and removed the serifs from the bottom. Adjusting the T’s to be different than the rest of the letter forms represents their distinction in the marketplace. The brand mark highlights the T from the logo in a circle. The circle is structured to reflect a color wheel which ties back to the name Tinte and the concept of offering hair color services at a blow dry bar.
Tinte’s world of accessible beauty is told through a minimal color palette of warm blacks and creams with accents of a rosy pink. A subtle grainy gradient provides a soft texture for digital applications. This curated brand identity seamlessly translates across exterior signage, brand collateral, business stationery, matchbooks, web applications, and social media.
