We worked with Sirène’s founder, Dyana Nematalla, on the brand identity for her boutique hair salon in Atlanta, Georgia. The goal was to create a minimal and fashion-forward brand that delivers the high-end and current feel of a NYC or LA salon — matched with an unique experience that cannot be found in Atlanta.
The logo is constructed of custom letterforms which are bold yet feminine at the same time. We chose to soften the transition from the serif to the letterform to give the letters a more fluid form. The salon’s mark contains the “S” from the logo in an oval shape which is inspired by the shape of a handheld mirror. On the exterior of the salon, we created a custom black steel sign with the logo in white vinyl.
To help elevate the salon experience we created some print collateral including business cards, match books, and coasters. The business cards feature a gold foil stamped brand mark and carefully crafted typography. We thought that match books would be a fun and unexpected takeaway from the salon.
We created and developed a custom website for the salon where the main goal was give clients a brief overview of services and booking info. It was important for the site to reflect the boutique nature of the salon as well as offering clients a consistent brand experience.
